To support our continued professionalization and international growth, we are looking for an Accounting Manager who combines strong financial expertise with leadership and a process-oriented mindset.
This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the further development and professionalization of our accounting organization, with a strong focus on internalizing accounting activities and strengthening our financial structure.
As Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the further development and professionalization of the accounting function within Den Berk Délice. Currently, part of the accounting is still managed externally. In this role, you will take the lead in bringing these activities in-house, building structure, processes, and expertise within the team.
You manage the accounting team and ensure that financial administration, closings, and reporting are accurate and delivered on time. At the same time, you remain hands-on by managing the full accounting cycle (A to Z) for a number of entities.
You report directly to the CFO and work closely with the controlling team. You play a key role in further strengthening our financial processes and internal controls.
You are responsible for the accurate organization and processing of the accounting for multiple entities within the group and personally manage the full accounting cycle for several entities.
You coordinate and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and are responsible for preparing the group’s consolidated financial statements, ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely reporting.
You take a leading role in the transition from externally managed accounting to an internally structured accounting model, helping to build a sustainable and efficient in-house setup.
You lead and support the accounting team in their daily activities, providing guidance on complex cases and contributing to their professional development.
You ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and legal requirements and guarantee that internal controls and procedures are correctly applied.
You act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders such as accountants, auditors, and tax advisors, and coordinate audit preparation and follow-up.
You collaborate closely with controlling to translate financial data into meaningful management reporting and support financial and tax-related matters across the organization.
You actively contribute to optimizing and further professionalizing financial processes, systems, and internal controls, both nationally and internationally, with a focus on efficiency, digitalization, and scalability.
You hold a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.
You have at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit, preferably in an international environment and with experience in a leadership role.
You have a strong knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax regulations.
You work accurately and in a structured way, ensuring high quality in financial processes and projects.
You combine an analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
You are a natural leader who can coach and guide people through change.
You thrive in a dynamic and growing organization where processes are continuously evolving.
You communicate effectively with different stakeholders across the organization.
Experience with ERP systems and further digitalization of financial processes is a strong plus.
