As team leader you are responsible for the organization of various activities within harvesting and crop treatment at one of our production sites.

Responsibilities

• You become co-responsible for the daily management at 1 of our production locations. Within a team of team leaders and crop managers, you are responsible for the organization of the work. This includes harvesting our tomatoes and/or directing the plants.

• You are in charge of 20 to 40 people and report personally to the manager labor. Your duties include:

  • training and monitoring new and existing staff,

  • watching over the quality of work and productivity of your employees,

  • optimizing our labor processes,

  • drawing up and adjusting the work planning.

• You have a lot of contact with our sales and quality department. You make sure that your team meets the planning and quality objectives.

• You complete your tasks together with your assistants. As cooperating foreman they are your right hand.

• You will also be introduced to the existing automation, the energy system and the cultivation control, so that you can also cope with the absence of your colleagues.

• You have strong organizational skills and can complete tasks independently.

• You enjoy working with people, and are a real team player.

• You can deploy yourself flexibly and correctly

• You are quality-oriented and have an eye for detail.

• You actively look for optimizations.

• Both candidates with a higher education (bachelor/master), and a strong affinity with agriculture or horticulture or managerial experience are eligible.
